Valhalla - Thor

Viking mythology, spanning from the Bronze Age to medieval times, was Scandinavia's religion. Vikings, known for their sea voyages and raiding, left enduring cultural imprints worldwide. Valhalla, meaning "Hall of the Slain" stands as a Viking afterlife where warriors enter after death. Thor is the God of Thunder. He is the guardian of the world – both of gods and men. Thor’s name is the basis for our modern day Thursday (Thorsdag).
