Contest Details
The contest is open to couples who are engaged-to-be married as well as married couples, with one prize package awarded in each category. In 1,000 words or less, tell us the details of your proposal and what made it perfect or special for you. Be sure to include all pertinent details that will help us understand why your proposal was so unique. Some of the details may be sad or bittersweet as well as happy, romantic or fun. There is no criteria for what will determine the “winning proposal,” other than it be a true and memorable story, special to you.

Prize Packages
The winning, Engaged Couple will receive a diamond pendant necklace the style of which will be determined by Naifeh Fine Jewelry, a bottle of Champagne, dinner for two at The Boulevard Steakhouse, limo service to and from dinner, and a complimentary photo session and 11” x 14” print from Eric Gfeller. The winning engaged couple will also receive one complimentary bridal page to be featured in The Brides of Oklahoma Annual Review to be published in 2011.

In addition, Naifeh Fine Jewelry will announce the winning couple and feature their picture in an ad in The Gazette the week following Valentine’s Day. The winners and their stories will also be featured on the Naifeh Fine Jewelry website for one to two months following the contest. Each finalist must provide a photo of themselves and fiancé no later than than Monday February 8th. All original photgraphs will be returned after February 14th. The winning couple will be notified Friday, February 12th, by telephone.

In addition, Naifeh Fine Jewelry will announce the winning couple and feature their picture in an ad in The Gazette the week following Valentine's Day, February 14th. Each finalist must provide a photo of themselves and spouse no later than than Monday, February 8th. All original photgraphs will be returned after February 14th. The winning couple will be notified by telephone Friday, February 12th.

All entries must be received by midnight Thursday, February 4th, 2010. The staff at Naifeh Fine Jewelry will determine five finalists in each of the two categories (married or engaged), and the 10 finalist’s stories will be posted on our website beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, February 7th. The public will be invited to vote for their favorites online until midnight on Thursday, February 11th. The final winners will be determined by this vote. The winner’s will be announced to the public on the Naifeh Fine Jewelry Website on Saturday, February 13th and in the Gazette the following week.
